Student Agendas and Supply Lists for 2023/24
All Braemar students are required to have a specific set of items that will be used throughout the school year. This consists of an agenda for grades 2-7 students and grade 1 French students, and a grade specific set of school supplies.
AGENDAS
Students are encouraged to purchase the Braemar version of the agenda ($7 cost), especially for the French program since it is highly beneficial for students to have consistency between spoken and written language when learning organizational skills in a second language. The Braemar agenda is also extremely beneficial to all intermediate students, as teachers intend to regularly use this planning tool to teach organizational skills. The consistency of the same agenda enhances teaching and learning in the class.
New Braemar students will be able to purchase an agenda in September.

Fees for the 2023 - 2024 School Year
In preparation for next school year, and in response to parents’ input at our school, staff members at Braemar have engaged in discussions pertaining to school fees. The fee schedule for the 2023-2024 school year is included below.
There will also be a change in fees charged for school supplies. Families will not be required to purchase their own supplies. Following the practice laid out for Kindergarten supplies, families of students in Grades 1 to 7 will be charged a set fee for school supplies required of that grade. Fees for these supplies will be collected via School Cash Online in September, 2023, and staff will order supplies as needed, helping reduce costs to families. For example, if your child is currently in Kindergarten to Grade 6, the fees will be payable to the school in September.

*Not all classes will be using student agendas, and these fees will be added on a class-by-class basis.
A further breakdown of costs, including trips to Cheakamus Centre for Grade 3,4, and 6 will be forwarded once their fees have been finalized. Field trip opportunities are not included and will be communicated to families as bookings are finalized.
A credit to the Braemar PAC, and their commitment to ensuring opportunities remain open for all students as they continue to support the school though volunteerism and fundraising.
