Registration and Withdrawal

Please note, the following French Immersion courses are currently full: Français langue seconde - Immersion 12, Explorations en sciences humaines et sociales 11, Médias et communication numérique 11, and Français langue seconde - Immersion 10.  

New Students to NVOL:

Students new to NVOL, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER and submit your course enrolment request form.  Students enrolling in courses at the grade 8 and grade 9 level must have a parent/guardian email onlinelearningreg@sd44.ca with the course name and grade level.      

In addition to submitting the online form at the link above, please provide the following identification via email to onlinelearningreg@sd44.ca:  (Note that students who are currently attending a North Vancouver School District 44 school are not required to forward ID)

  1. Birth Certificate, Canadian Passport or Permanent Resident Card for student AND parent/legal guardian (if applicable) AND
  2. Proof of Resident (i.e., current BC Driver's License, Utility Bill or Rental Agreement) for student and parent/legal guardian (if applicable)
  3. IEP (Individual Education Plan), if applicable
  4. Most recent Transcript or Report Card
  5. Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement

Adult students and students not currently attending a BC secondary school must contact the NVOL office to make an appointment with the Academic Advisor at 604-903-3333.  

International students will find fee information at this link

Current and Former Students:

Current and former students can email onlinelearningreg@sd44.ca to enrol in additional courses at NVOL.  In the email, please state the student first, last name, and date of birth, and the course name and grade level.  

Adults and students who attend only NVOL school can contact Hannah Welwood, Academic Advisor, directly to enrol in additional courses.  

Withdrawals

Students should begin engaging with the course in Moodle within the next month or two to avoid being removed due to inactivity.  Students who have access to a Moodle course but who show no progress for multiple reporting periods will be removed.  Not to worry though, you can easily re-enrol with us when you're ready to engage with the coursework.
