It’s that time of year again! BPAC and Handsworth
Athletics has planned the annual Handsworth Alumni Basketball for Tuesday
December 22, 2015 and everyone is invited.
This is a wonderful tradition at Handsworth. Not only
is this event super fun, it keeps the alumni connected to the Handsworth
Basketball program.
Thank you to the following people for being the team
co-ordinators for this year’s event:
· Senior Girls
vs all Grads of the Handsworth Basketball program. Alexandra Flatt
is organizing this game. Please e-mail Lexie at aflatt@shaw.ca if you want to sign up. Game time is
4:30pm-6:00pm · The Senior
boys vs Grads from the past three years (2015, 2014. 2013) is organized by
alumni and Senior Boys assistant coach Rahim Pendleton rahimpendleton47@hotmail.com Please e-mail Rahim if you plan on playing. Game Time is
6:00pm-7:30pm
· The Old timers
game is organized by Senior Boys Coach Cam Mowat and all alumni who
graduated more than three years ago(2012 and older) Cam’s e-mail is cammowat@live.com Game time is 7:30-9pm Please e-mail Cam to sign up to pay in this
game.
A special thank you to Rameses Langdon for organizing
the refs and score keepers and to Deb Anderson for being the teacher sponsor of
this event.
All parents, Handsworth basketball players and of course
alumni are encourage to come out. Last year we had a fantastic turnout. (Senior
boys you do not want to miss watching all three of your coaches in
action!)
