Handsworth PAC invites you to an interactive workshop: Managing Conflict with your Teenager's Brain in Mind.

This session will help parents discover strategies for resolving differences with teenagers, setting limits on objectionable behaviour, and keeping cool while assisting teens to self-regulate.

Special attention will be given to the following questions:

-Why is resolving conflict challenging with teenagers?

-What can you expect from the teen brain in resolving conflict?

-What is the link between a parent's self-regulation and a teen's self-regulation?

Leading the session is Ms. Raj Dhasi, Senior Conflict Resolution Consultant with Turning Point Resolutions Inc. Raj works with school districts and families across Canada. She is a faculty member at the Centre for Conflict Resolution at the Justice Institute of BC and has worked in restorative justice and as a school counselor. Raj has an MA in Conflict Analysis and is currently studying Neuroscience with a focus on the impact of stress on the human brain.
