​Ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment is a priority for the North Vancouver School District.  

The Air Quality Health Index (AQHI​) is showing that in our part of MetroVan the observed risk category for air quality is the highest level – 10+. ​Consequently, we are suspending any outdoor school and extracurricular activities for today, effective immediately (Wednesday, September 3, 2025). 

School district staff will continue to monitor air quality advisories issued in response to wildfire activity under advisement from Vancouver Coastal Health. School activities may be varied over the coming days to protect the health and safety of staff and students. ​
