The Hot Lunch Team at Canyon Heights Elementary is pleased to offer a new theme to students – World Kitchen! Starting in January, World Kitchen will include hot items like fried rice, burritos, spring rolls, and chicken souvlaki. We will also be adding chili and mac & cheese, to the existing ‘Foodie Kids’ day. Lastly, we’ve be been working with vendors and we have made some price adjustments to some of the popular items that are worth checking out.
Through the Munch- a- Lunch program, the PAC provides the opportunity for families to choose to order hot lunch throughout the year. Ordering is done online and there are a variety of lunch options to choose from, which are typically served twice per week. The hot lunch program is one of our most successful fundraising initiatives, raising funds for valuable programs and education tools for our school. It also provides parents with a convenient and easy alternative to making lunches every day - a win, win!
