On April 27th the North Vancouver Recreation & Culture will be hosting their 5th annual Preteen Conference.
The event will be held at Delbrook Community Centre and is a fun and interactive day that will give grade six and seven students the tools to be agents of change in their own community while developing a deeper understanding of human rights, and child rights and responsibilities. Participants are meant to #BSeen by connecting with preteens from across the North Shore for an exciting activity-packed day. #Bheard as they learn how to stand up for ideas and actions that could make the North Shore a better place for everyone. And #Binspired when they learn about this in powerful workshops and break down barriers and dispel myths while they play wheelchair basketball.
