We're excited to announce the date for the 2020 Braemar Science Fair: Monday
April 6th from 6:30-8pm in the gym.
Here is a summary of the key information you need to know in order to
participate:
- Choose a project: You can work by yourself,
in pairs or in a group (Max 4 students)
- Submit Student Proposal form
to the BPAC Mailbox in the office for review/ approval by the Science Fair
Committee by Feb 28th
- Lunch Help Sessions:
- Need help picking a topic?
Bring your form to the library at lunch & the Science Fair
Committee will be there to help you brainstorm ideas & share some
great science books. 4 Mondays: Jan 27, Feb 3, 10 &
24th
- Work on your project & create a fun
display to explain your project, demonstration or experiment
- Share your findings on April
6th
- Set up is 8:15-8:40am on Mon April 6th
- Students will share their
projects with other classes all morning
- Parents are welcome for the
Science Fair on Monday evening (6:30-8pm)
- Any mess created by
projects must be contained/cleaned up immediately by the students
- Students must remove their
display & project at 8pm after the Science Fair
Last year we enjoyed more than 120 projects - amazing to see the range
of interests and creativity. We hope to see students of all ages (all
Braemar students K-7 are welcome to participate) exploring science & having
