​The North Vancouver Board of Education is pleased to announce Linda Munro will be joining the Board as a newly elected school trustee.

A self-described connector and community builder, Linda’s community relations, public education and governance experience includes serving as president for the Lynn Valley Parent Participation Preschool, trustee and vice chair for the North Vancouver District Public Library and chair of the Ross Road Elementary Parent Advisory Committee. Linda is currently a senior communications officer at Capilano University.

We look forward to drawing on her strengths and experiences as we collaboratively work on policy decisions governing all aspects of education within the school district. On May 29, 2021, a by-election for one District of North Vancouver school trustee took place. The term runs for the remainder of the four-year term ending November 2022.

Linda will be affirmed as school trustee on June 8, 2021.
