to her artwork, most noted by her recent series of powerful self-portraits. She
is hard-working, resilient, and unafraid to communicate complex and mature
ideas. A talented sculptor, painter, and drawer – she has produced a
professional portfolio of works that is exhibition-ready. Julia is inspiring,
and sets a high standard for students at Handsworth.
