Students Gabrielle Webb, Niki Booker, Gordie Marshall, Thea Medland and Michael Dinoto have their hands full at Handsworth Secondary with clothing donations for the 44 Dresses campaign. Volunteers are currently collecting dresses, slacks, skirts, suits, shoes, shirts, accessories and other ‘formal’ items to help North Vancouver School District Grade 7 students feel special at their farewell celebration. The students ‘shop’ for a free outfit during a special Boutique Day. Organizers are in need of clothing sizes from youth small to adult XXL, and all donations need to come with their own hanger. Donations can be dropped off after April 1 to North Vancouver district secondary schools during office hours, or to the Education Services Centre at 2121 Lonsdale Ave.
