2018 Presidents’ Council Dinner

March 09, 2018

PCDinner_2018_postimage.jpgRecently, the North Vancouver Board of Education hosted the Presidents' Council Dinner with representatives from our partners in education for an evening of great discussion.

This strategic planning session was proudly catered by students in the Youth Train in Trades VCC Culinary Arts program, which is held at Carson Graham Secondary School.

The delicious, awe-inspiring three-course meal was prepared by students in the Culinary Arts program, under the direction of their charismatic instructor: Chef Scarlet Gaffney, of VCC.

The evening was a great success. From menu selection and plate presentation, to table setting and serving, this team served a dinner that was both professional and extremely well-received.

Says Superintendent Mark Pearmain, "Thank you to this incredibly talented team who treated us to such a fantastic and delicious dinner. It was truly amazing to witness your great culinary skills and passion for this profession firsthand. On behalf of the North Vancouver School District, we wish you all the best as you continue on your culinary journey!"
