Dear North Vancouver School District Community,

On World Teachers' Day 2025, we join the global celebration of educators and the vital role they play in shaping our communities and our future. This year's theme, “Recasting teaching as a collaborative profession," highlights the transformative power of working together in schools and education systems.

Here in North Vancouver, we see that spirit of collaboration and care every day. NVSD teachers create classrooms that inspire curiosity, compassion, and responsibility. Their dedication nurtures students to grow into thoughtful, engaged citizens. We appreciate how NVSD teachers make a lasting difference in the lives of students, as well as in the health and strength of our entire community.

Founded by UNESCO and held every October 5, World Teachers' Day honours teachers worldwide for their commitment and lasting impact. Today, we honour our own NVSD teachers with heartfelt gratitude.

On behalf of the North Vancouver Board of Education and NVSD leadership, thank you for the joy, care, and wisdom you bring to your work each and every day.
