The Windsor Wolves will battle for a senior AA football provincial title Saturday under the bright lights of BC Place.

Windsor earned their spot in the championship final with a high-scoring 44-28 victory over Abbotsford’s Robert Bateman Secondary Nov. 23 at BC Place. In the title game Nov. 30, the Wolves will take on the Vernon Panthers, who booked their spot in the final with a 36-14 victory over College Heights last weekend.

Windsor will be looking for some revenge against Vernon, as the two teams faced each other to open the season Sept. 6 with the Panthers scoring a 21-0 win. The Wolves haven’t lost since, ripping off nine consecutive wins, including victories over North Shore rivals Carson Graham and Argyle, on their way to the AA final.

Windsor has been led on offence this season by quarterback Emmet Ward, with Brady Smith, Xavian Washington and Samson Sachter putting up big numbers on offence and defence.

The AA championship final will kick off at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at BC Place.
