Event Notice Graphic_Square-02.pngThe North Vancouver School District and North Vancouver RCMP Youth Intervention Unit invite families* of students in Grades 9 and 10 to attend one of two 90-minute sessions happening in November, Keeping Kids Safe: Cybersafety and Sexual Exploitation Education.

Facilitated by Tiana Sharifi, families will learn about digital consent, healthy boundaries, grooming warning signs, and exploitation trends happening through games, activities and multimedia (i.e., social media).

These interactive sessions complement presentations being delivered across the school district this fall to students in Grades 9 and 10. By attending, you will come away from the session with greater confidence in speaking with your child about these concepts and knowing where to access resources and support.

Should you have any questions about the sessions, or have a question for the facilitator you would like to send in advance of a session (and in confidence), please include them in your RSVP

By RSVP'ing, you will receive a reminder email one day prior to the session. If you RSVP for the online session, the reminder email will include a link to the session.
