The following information applies to students in Grades 7 to 11
Late application to NVSD Academies for the 2022/2023 school year begins on Monday, May 9, and closes on Friday, May 27, 2022.
All applications are date and time stamped and will be reviewed on a first come, first serve basis.
Depending on the academy, applications will be used to:
- enroll students into academies that still have space, or
- place students on the waitlist (when the academy of choice is full).
As soon as space is available, applicants will be sent a notification for payment.
Academies accepting late applications are:
- AFK Studio Art Academy*
- Basketball Academy (East & West)
- Business and Gaming Entrepreneurship Lab
- Dance Academy
- Digital Media Academy (DMA)**
- Digital Media Academy Lite (DMA Lite)**
- Field Hockey Academy
- Hockey Skills Academy
- Robotics Academy
- Rowing Academy
- Soccer Academy
- Volleyball Academy
*Applicants new to the Artists for Kids (AFK) Studio Art Academy do not need to prepare and submit a portfolio unless requested by AFK.
**Applicants
new to DMA and DMA Lite are required to submit supplemental application
materials, in addition to the School Cash Online application by the May
27, 2022, deadline.
