The District of North Vancouver honoured recipients of this year's Heritage Awards and Design Excellence Awards at the April 4 regular Council meeting. 

The welcome figure at L'École Secondaire Argyle Secondary School was presented with a Community Heritage Award. The annual Community Heritage Awards program, coordinated by the Community Heritage Advisory Committee, recognizes and honours special projects and accomplishments in heritage conservation.
