North Vancouver School District recognizes
25-year employees

Every year, the North Vancouver School District recognizes and honours educators and staff who have served the school district community for 25 years. In 2022, 37 employees were recently honoured.

“On behalf of the North Vancouver Board of Education, I would like to congratulate this year’s recipients on this significant achievement,” said Board Chair Kulvir Mann. “I would also like to extend our deep gratitude to each of you for your commitment to ensuring we continue to provide for students and school communities exceptional teaching and learning experiences.”

Added Superintendent Mark Pearmain, “Employees are the heart of who we are as an organization, and the impact they have on each other and the school system is so important. It gives me great pleasure whenever there is an opportunity to recognize employees for their contributions, and especially long-service employees who for 25 years have worked to inspire students and bring communities together to learn, share, grow and thrive.”

In the past, the school district would have honoured employees with an in-person ceremony. This year, the ceremony was held online, with cards and gifts presented to employees through their school administration team.
