Overview

Career exploration starts now! From the moment our students enter the first day of kindergarten through to graduation, students have the opportunity to explore a variety of career and post-secondary pathways. Our programs, resources, and networking opportunities, provide an opportunity for students to imagine their future possibilities.  Students are provided opportunities to explore both inside their school and in the community.  We encourage students to examine and explore career and post-secondary pathways that align with their likes, interests while building skills and knowledge is key to their success.

The North Vancouver School District’s priorities for career education include:
  1. To make career education relevant and meaningful for students Kindergarten through Grade 12
  2. To extend student learning into the community
  3. To help students build awareness of the variety of careers available, the skills and competencies need to be successful, and the post-secondary education required
