Brooksbank students support cancer research

October 11, 2018

Students at Brooksbank Elementary School recently raised $700 to support Cops for Cancer and the Terry Fox Foundation. In addition to the amount the school raised, students and brothers Aidan and Ryan Reid undertook their own initiative and raised almost $3,000 to make wigs for kids who are undergoing cancer treatment or have other illnesses. The brothers cut and donated their hair. Their fundraising webpage is here: https://secure.bcchf.ca/SuperheroPages/main.cfm?Event=WigsForKids&Member=92774&PH=3
