To honour the life
of Her Majesty the Queen, the Canadian flag was flown at half-mast
immediately upon the announcement of her passing on September 8, 2022.
To
acknowledge the accession of the new monarch, the Canadian flag will be
raised at the end of the day, Friday, September 9, and remain hoisted
until the morning of Monday, September 12.
To continue to honour
Her Majesty the Queen, the Canadian flag will be flown at half-mast
beginning the morning of Monday, September 12, until sunset on September
19, the day of the memorial service of Her Majesty the Queen.
