On Monday, April 29, 2019 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Centennial Theatre, the North Vancouver School District and the Downie Wenjack Foundation are pleased to co-host a FREE screening of The Secret Path. This documentary film tells the story of residential school. The Secret Path acknowledges a dark part of Canada’s history - the long-suppressed mistreatment of Indigenous children and families by the Residential School system - with the hope of starting our country on a road to reconciliation. Mike Downie (co-producer of the film) and Pearl Wenjack (Chanie's sister) will be with us for this event. Space is limited.
