Megan is a long time North Shore resident (40+ years) and received all of her elementary and secondary schooling here. She has lived in North Vancouver City for 16 years.
Megan has three children currently enrolled in North Vancouver public schools, from Grade 3 to Grade 12. One of her children has learning disabilities and she has been advocating on that child's behalf for many years.
She has a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from UBC, a Bachelor of Laws from University of Alberta, and a Masters of Law from Cambridge University in the UK. She worked as a lawyer for 13 years; practicing in the areas of labour law, employment discrimination, human rights, and professional discipline.
