All grade 8 & 9 students taking French this school year are invited to attend the Festival du Bois! Sutherland is offering a field trip to the francophone festival on Saturday, March 2, 2013, leaving the school at 11:30 a.m. by charter bus and returning at 3:30 p.m. Students will experience music from Quebec, Louisiana, France, Acadia and Africa. Food includes such treats as poutine, crepes, maple syrup taffy and more! There are lots of French-themed souvenirs, too! All sorts of activities and fun are to be had. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, February 27th.
