The Sutherland Career Centre is located in Room B204 where you will find information about career choices, post secondary institutions, career preparation, work experience, travel, volunteer opportunities and part time jobs.
 
WORK EXPERIENCE
 
There are several types of work experience opportunities available and students may choose a variety of experiences to meet the minimum 30-hour graduation requirement or take Work Experience 12A or 12B to complete 100 hours.  Work experience can be started at age 15. The following activities qualify as work experience activities:
  •    Apprenticeship SSA
  •     A work experience placement
  •     A job shadow placement
  •     Mentoring
  •     Community-based seminars
  •     Student employment
  •     Volunteer community service
  •      Student entrepreneurship
