An important reminder to students and parents on the use of tobacco and tobacco related products on school grounds.

During the past few years, overall tobacco use by students at Sutherland has seen a steady decrease.  However, this year, there has been a uptick in the number of students using e-cigarettes (vapes).  Provincial government and school district policies strictly prohibit the use of tobacco and related tobacco related products including e-cigarettes on school grounds.  Please see linked article regarding school policy as well as related links to the use of e-cigarettes.
