• 9:00am – 9:25am: Arrival at Handsworth in Grand Commons/Cafeteria with student leaders; find name tag/group #

• 9:30am – 9:45am: Introduction and Welcome in Theatre

• 9:50am – 10:10am: Activity #1

• 10:20am – 10:30am: Break

• 10:35am – 10:55am: Activity #2

• 11:00am – 11:20am: Activity #3

• 11:20am – Everyone meet back in outdoor classroom space behind Library Learning Commons for goodbye and snack

• 11:30am – Dismissal from Handsworth

* Students are welcome to bring money to purchase something at the cafeteria. There is NO food or drink allowed in the Theatre.

Students are asked to come prepared with some paper, a pen, snack and a water bottle.

2024-2025 transfer requests for Grades 1-12 begins January 9, 2024, and ends March 8, 2024. New date! Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 6:00 PM	Grade 7 to 8 Transition to Handsworth Secondary Grade 7 Parent Information Evening (Parents only at this presentation please.) Parents and Guardians (only) of current grade 7s are invited to attend. This meeting is designed to provide information about the Handsworth Grade 8 course offerings and programs available. Parents will be introduced to some key staff at our school, course programming and the process of transition from grade 7 to grade 8. This meeting will start promptly and is expected to run for about an hour.	Handsworth Secondary Theatre

Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 6:00 PM	Students in Grades 7 to 11 and their families (from across the North Shore) are invited to learn about the various enhanced programs and academies offered at our secondary schools. Taking place on Thursday, January 18, 6 to 8 p.m, at Carson Graham Secondary (2145 Jones Avenue, North Vancouver), the event will include short presentations and booths hosted by NVSD staff, academy providers, program facilitators and coaches.
