The North Vancouver Board of Education recently hosted the Presidents Council Dinner with representatives from their partners in education. This strategic planning session was proudly catered by the students in the VCC Culinary Arts program which operates out of Carson Graham Secondary School.
The sumptuous three-course meal was prepared by: Carson, Marian, Benjamin D., Samantha, Coleman, Benjamin G., Kayla, and Ton, under the direction of their dynamic instructor Chef Scarlet Gaffney, of VCC.
From the menu selection and preparation, to table setting and serving, this team provided a dinner that was professional and well-received.
Says Superintendent Mark Pearmain, "Well done to these very talented students who spoiled us with an outstanding meal. You have certainly demonstrated your world-class culinary skills and passion for this profession. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours."
