Intended for families and their children (ages 3-5 years), i t fosters positive connections among families, schools and early learning community partners and support children as they prepare for their transition to Kindergarten.

Ready, Set, Learn is an initiative aimed at encouraging and supporting children's early language and literacy skills. Intended for families and their 3-to 5-year-old children, Ready, Set, Learn events support preschool-aged children prepare for their eventual transition to Kindergarten and help foster positive connections among families, schools and early learning community partners.

The National Day of Mourning is a day when families, workers and employers remember those who have lost their lives on the job. It is an opportunity to renew our commitment to creating safer workplaces for all and is observed annually on April 28.

Registration is open to students within and beyond the NVSD. Registration opens on Monday, May 1 at 8 a.m. for NVSD students (and on Friday, May 10 for students outside the NVSD). Registration closes on Friday, June 21 at 12 noon.
