Are you or your kids concerned about crossing 29th and William Avenue safely?

Will your Children have to cross this road in the future to go to Argyle?

The discussion of pedestrian safety at this intersection has been ongoing for over 15 years. We need your support to show the District of North Vancouver that we want a safe crossing now, not after the unimaginable happens.

Over the summer the District of North Vancouver removed some of the traffic calming measures at this intersection to speed up the flow of traffic. The traffic flow has improved, but at the expense of the safety of our children and other pedestrians.

We are asking for you to come and support our request for the Traffic Bulge to be reinstalled immediately and have a traffic light installed at this intersection.

Where: District of North Vancouver Council Meeting 355 West Queens Road, North Vancouver
When:  Monday November 20th 6:30pm. Meeting starts at 7:00pm, our portion should be 30 minutes.

If you would like to speak to Council about your personal experiences, please arrive at 6:20pm to add your name to the list.

The amount of people who show up speaks volumes

WE NEED YOU TO ATTEND AND TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN.

f you would like your opinion heard, but are unable to attend please email Council council@dnv.org

Please contact Gillian Paton – chair@boundarypac.ca if you would like more information.
