More than 140 graduating elementary students in North Vancouver,
including Ava Heyes and Kaelyn Clarke, will be celebrating in style
thanks to party dress donations from the community. On April 24 the
students attended boutique day at the North Vancouver school board
offices where they picked out a special outfit. The event is organized
by 44 Dresses, a local charity which collects dresses for girls whose
families live on a tight budget. Helping out that day were 44 Dresses
founders Elena Grant and Lisa Upton, along with North Vancouver school
district Supt. Mark Pearmain. Photo Mike Wakefield, North Shore News
