March 19, 2018

Culinary.DoubleExposure-0893.jpgThe Culinary Arts program partnership between the North Vancouver School District and Vancouver Community College provides a special opportunity for secondary school students to complete their Grade 11 and 12 graduation requirements, while earning post-secondary credits and certification as a Professional Chef Level 1 in the culinary arts industry.

This is a unique opportunity for students to learn lifelong skills and gain a foothold into the culinary industry through a quality program taught by a Vancouver Community College Red Seal Chef. Students will also receive 28 credits towards their secondary school graduation.

The program is taught in a state-of-the-art professional kitchen at Carson Graham Secondary School and runs Monday - Thursday afternoons, which allows students to complete their academic studies in the morning. Classes begin in September 2018 (2018/2019 school year).
