Mark Pearmain, Superintendent, thanked the group for their years of service on behalf of the Board of Education and Executive Committee: “We live in a world where the work that you do in supporting the education of each child is becoming more critically important. Being a global citizen that is tolerant, thoughtful, open-minded, critical in analysis and willing to think of others is a set of skills that allow us to be leaders not just in North Vancouver but on a global scale. For the past 25 years and the next 25 years to come, that is what we, as the North Vancouver School District, will continue to strive for. Our learners will become leaders.” says Pearmain.
