The upcoming Board Standing Committee Meeting is focused on mental health. Kerrie Watt from Foundry will update the Board on the current level of operation and service delivery at Foundry, followed by an opportunity for questions. Jeremy Church and Pius Ryan will provide an update on the area of Social Emotional Learning, including Mental Health Literacy, integrated mental health supports, and sense of belonging. Mr. Church will also share strategies being employed at Mountainside Secondary School to engage and support this population, as well as better prepare them for the transition to post-graduation. All parents and members of the community are encouraged to attend.
